Graphics Card

Can anyone recommend to me a $100 graphics card that will be able to play hl2? I don't really need the best graphics, but I need one that will be able to play the game at at least medium graphics. I was looking at the GeForce FX 5500 OC w/ 256mb, which is only about $120 at best buy, but is this better than the other ati cards that are around $100? I have a GeForce Ti 4200 right now, which sucks, so i need all the help i can get. Thanks!

If you want to upgrade, get at least a 9600XT or your're wasting your money. $100 for a graphics card just dosnt cut it.
