System Specifications
Mr. Evil's Desktop
So anyway, this is my desktop PC. I don't build a complete system for my personal desktop. I do it instead in phases. An upgrade here and there and eventually it no longer contains parts less than a year or two old. The case I use is the Coolermaster ATCS 840, was thinking about custom fabricating my own case from Aluminium stock and doing the panels in Carbon Fiber laminate. However, this Coolermaster was just too nice and too beefy to pass up. It has more than enough room for my CPU/Northbridge cooling loop and has additional space in the lower section for a secondary loop dedicated to video cards.
That would be my next step, to install a PowerColor Radeon 5870 with Waterblock and put in a 2nd cooling loop for the video. I have space for a 2nd 2x120mm Radiator on the back side of my Hard Drives. For now I'm only H2O cooling the CPU. The loop consists of a Swiftech Apogee GT Waterblock with a 2x120mm Radiator fed by a Swiftech MCP-350 pump/res combo in the top 5 1/4" bay. The Radiator is mounted in the top of the chassis where the pair of factory installed 240mm fans orginally sat (Coolermaster included a nifty set of adapters.) The next addition to this loop will be the ASUS compatible Chipset block. The Maximus II Formula I'm using has a unique heatsink over the northbridge that can be removed in favor of a special waterblock Swiftech developed specially for ASUS boards. When I upgrade from LGA 775 I can get a new mounting kit for my Waterblock that will work with i7 and ASUS already has i7 boards out that support the chipset heatsink.

Shaun, the benchmark process was pain free.
