another build for someone else

You guys were such a big help last time I'm coming back for help again

This time I've been asked to build a general purpose machine for a friend. It'll primarily be used for internet (duh), word processing, and managing photos, with *some light gaming - maybe. Their primary concerns are speed (current system is a P4 something) and hard drive space (current = 40GB). So just about anything I build will be a big step up.

Looking for thoughts on this build:

$580+sh after rebates.

any thing that looks like a bad combination? any parts I could get by for less $$ (cost is a concern, but not a huge one, on this build)? Any other suggestions?

also, found this for another $20 after MIR: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130464 worthwhile upgrade for 20 bones more? thinking mostly for longevity than for gaming horsepower.

thanks guys!
