Gigabyte GA-X58-Extreme Motherboard

Not to be outdone by ASUS (with their recent P6T X58 info release), Gigabyte spills the beans on one of it's upcoming X58 offerings:

Quote:
Pairing up the X58 northbridge and the ICH10R southbridge, the motherboard has support for LGA1366 processors and triple channel DDR3 memory configurations and can house up to four graphics cards, thus enabling CrossFireX setups. Cooled off by a hybrid system that combines passive air cooling and watercooling, Gigabyte's X58 board also has six SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, an IDE connector and Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons, the latter being found on the back panel. While it doesn't feature any eSATA connectors, the board does have a FireWire and eight USB ports, plus dual Gigabit Ethernet and 7.1 channel audio. If Gigabyte doesn't change its past release methods, then the GA-X58-DS4 will be just one of many X58 motherboards so all we'll need is the money for one. Or for that Asus P6T Deluxe.
