Benchmarks
Hi everyone, I am waiting on my desktop system with great eagerness, and I was just wondering what the benchmarks of some desktop owners are. I would greatly appreciate it if those with desktops can post their 3dMark03 benchmarks, along with your desktop specs. Thanx a lot.

Specs are in my sig - in 3dmark03 I got 6447; in 01 I got 18383. Haven't seen many others but the ones I have mine seem a bit low......but then i don't go nuts about benchmarks anyway

I have a 3.2 P4/5900 Ultra/intel mobo/Audigy 2 platinum/1G corsair XMS 3200/320G RAID system I got last summer. Dylan will show better numbers than I due to the 9800XT being a generation newer than my vid card, though I have the 3.2 P4.
3dMark2001SE I got 18,140. A guy on AW's forums with a 3.2 and 9800XT says he gets right about 19000. This benchmark does rely on the graphics card, and drivers affect the scores dramatically. In 3dMark 2003 (build 340) I got 6422 on first run. I also got 358.2fps in Quake 3 timedemo 1 on a three run average. |

You should be happy with the 3.2 Universal, I have the 3.2/9800XT/2Gb Corsair Memory/in a Sata Raid 0 Array & I get 19,025 in 3DMark02 SE & 6525 in 3DMark 03 with the Default settings and no Overclocking of the CPU or Video card at all...
If I wanted to I could probably easily push it over 20,000 & 7000 respectively in the benchmarks but I see no need for it especially while still under Warranty... |
