If you thought AMD’s current domination of the gameplay experience ended with the entire lineup of the DX11 Radeon HD 5000 series being released, you’d be thoroughly mistaken. The hardware that powers our games is nothing without the software to drive it. AMD is committed to improving the gameplay experience and giving gamers and hardware enthusiasts the features they demand.

There have been several features that gamers have been demanding for a while now, and AMD is answering the cry of gamers everywhere by introducing some new features in their drivers that directly benefit gamers and should improve the gameplay experience.

It would be interesting if we can have some sort of benchmarking with stock drivers against modded ones.

Users always have the tendency to jump for a modded version even before trying out the stock driver in the past. ATI - and nVidia - would have a hard time to convince users to stick with original drivers due to past sub-par driver support.

cheers ...

CF EF Support!

I looked pretty closely at the 10.2 and 10.3 drivers. I'm really happy to see ATi has responded to the demand from their customers.

I own a 5850 and just recently purchased 3 monitors to go Eyefinity. The timing could not be more perfect for EF CF support.

People were angry with AMD/ATi because of the lack of EF CF support and the whole display port thing... the fact of the matter is that tripple monitor gaming is a relatively new endevor. Drivers will take a while to get to a quality level.

I give Ati props for working so hard to please its customers.
